The first time I tried the Grow Fonder Pattern from Apple Tree Pattern Co., I knew I was hooked! I mean, who wouldn’t love the idea of a shirt that can grow with your child over a couple of years!? I know I certainly do! Especially because it seems like J is growing out of all of my favorite handmades way too quickly lately.

The Grow Fonder comes in three different sizes: 3-12 m, 1-3 yrs, and 3-6 yrs. Word through the grapevine is that they are also working on expanded sizing, up to a size 12/13, which I am so excited about! This pattern also offers some great options including a cowl or crew neck option and short or long sleeves. It is also a great base for trying out some appliqué or color blocking. If you are looking for a hooded grow with me option, the Bunny Hug is also a great pattern. Here are just a few of my current favorites made using this great pattern!
